Finals and some last minute things in Bologna have been keeping me busy lately (including an incredible weekend trip to Naples!), so here’s another snapshot post. I can’t believe that I only have a week left in Bologna and at this time in seven days I’ll be at the airport or already on my plane making the trip back home. I’m definitely excited to return home and start the Christmas traditions right away (my family’s waiting to do the tree and my sister is promising to make a Gingerbread house when I get back). That said, Italy also knows how to spruce itself up in time for Christmas, and they start gearing up even earlier than the US does as there’s no Thanksgiving to stop them from decorating in early November. So, here are a couple of photos from Italian Christmas setups.

Are there any fun Christmas traditions, markets, or sights in your hometown or city? Have your ever celebrated Christmas in Italy?
Lovely!
